Katy Moore: Physical Fitness Training Expert and RUGBYfitUK Course Designer.
Katy has accumulated 15+ years in the business, she is qualified in most areas of fitness ranging from Strength training to martial arts. She is a personal trainer and certified nutritionist.
Katy currently works at the Hale Country Club & Spa, DW Brooklands and Sports Direct Sale. She works on the group exercise timetable at all these clubs. Katy is an international master trainer for Trainfitness specialising in Fight/Martial arts, strength training using a bar bell and weighted plates and body resistance exercises using the metabolic effect. Katy believes she can bring some sports specific training to Rugby Fit.
Stephen Appleby: Vice Chairman, First XV, RUGBYfitUK Course Designer
Stephen is an active player and coach at Ashton on Mersey RUFC. Over a 30+ years amateur rugby playing career he has successfully led the 1st Team as Captain, coached minis, juniors and senior levels as an accredited RFU England coach and develop a deep passion for the game.
Stephen is keen to use this experience to help the RUGBYfitUK team develop healthier lifestyles and develop their Rugby skills.
David Higgins: Director of Rugby, First XV. RUGBYfitUK Course Designer
David is enjoying a long and extremely rewarding amateur rugby union career. Joining Ashton on Mersey as a total novice in his early twenties he understands first-hand how daunting it can be to join a rugby club and learn new skills as an adult.
Learning the game and developing his skills he has been supported by the club to become Captain, Coach (juniors and seniors) now Director of Rugby at Ashton on Mersey RUFC.
David has been inspired to develop RUGBYfitUK to extend the spirit of rugby to as many people as possible.
